Sony has released the VAIO M netbook, featuring a 10.1-inch LED-backlight 1024×600 pixel display, the Intel Atom Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, and a 6-cell battery.
The VAIO M M11M1E, listed at the Sony UK site, also includes the Intel GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB DDR2 of memory, a 250GB of hard drive with Windows 7 Starter pre-installed, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, an embedded Motion Eye camera, stereo speakers, a microphone, and three USB ports.Sony’s new netbook weighs 3-pounds and it is available in black or white color.
The VAIO M has been officially unveiled in the UK. There’s no info on US availability. It was previously reported that the netbook has a £299 (around $453) price tag.
