Apple Launches Unibody MacBook

Apple launched today the new white MacBook laptop, featuring a 13.3-inch LED-backlight display, a new polycarbonate unibody case, a non-user-removable battery that lasts up to 7 hours, and a glass Multi-Touch trackpad.
The 1.08 inches thin 4.7-pound MacBook has a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics, 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 250GB hard drive, and a slot-load DVD burner. The 13.3″ glossy display has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels.
Build-to-order options include 4GB of RAM, as well as 320GB and 500GB HDDs.
Unibody MacBookThe unibody Macbook also sports a web camera, AirPort Extreme 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, a Gigabit LAN port, two USB connectors, and a Mini DisplayPort.
Apple’s new notebook for consumers runs Mac OS X Snow Leopard and has a suggested retail price of $999. It’s available now for purchase at Apple.com.
