The first two ThinkPad L models are the 14-inch L412 and 15-inch L512.
According to the press release, “the laptops use up to 30 percent post consumer content from office water jugs and used IT equipment in parts like the LCD cover, palm rests and top/bottom case”.
The ThinkPad L Series will be available with the Intel Core i3 or i5 processors, along with the Intel integrated or ATI Radeon graphics.
Lenovo’s eco laptops include a web camera, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G/4G wireless connectivity options, and Windows 7 OS.
The ThinkPad L412 and L512 will be available starting mid-May with a base price of $649.
