Lenovo has released the 15.6-inch ThinkPad W510 mobile workstation laptop with Intel’s Core i7 processor, an NVIDIA GPU and an optional multi-touch screen.
The Lenovo ThinkPad W510 features the Intel Core i7-720QM at 1.6GHz, the i7-820QM at 1.73GHz, or the 2GHz i7-920XM, all with quad CPU cores. The laptop comes with the NVIDIA NVS 5100m 1GB DDR3 discrete graphics card, up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 500GB of hard drive space or a 128GB solid state drive, and a DVD burner.

The W510 sports a 2MP web camera and microphone, a multi-touch trackpad, optional color sensor for display calibration, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, optional WiMAX, optional Gobi 2000 3G mobile broadband with GPS, four USB ports (one of them is USB 3.0), an USB/eSATA combo, an ExpressCard slot, a Display port, a VGA output, Firewire, a 5-in-1 media card reader, and an optional Smart Card reader.
The laptop starts at around 5.9 pounds and runs Windows 7 OS.
